    We always welcome new members in our ranks who are interested in the history of the American Civil War.

    We take pride in doing our best to accurately portray a company of soldiers in the Union Army during the Civil War both in camp and on the field.

    Anyone is welcome to join the ranks of the 50th PVI as a member by applying and paying annual dues. The School of Soldier Program is an educational course designed for students aged 16 and up. The course is for one weekend, and everything needed to reenact is included with the cost of tuition.

    Membership dues as of January 2026 are $50 a year. Tuition for the School of Soldier Program is determined per event. Please reach out for all course details.

    The 50th PVI has over 10 complete kits and rifles for a private to take the field. While these kits are available for use, Students enrolled in the School of Soldier Program always have first priority. As a member, you are encouraged to outfit yourself as soon as possible to take the field with your own gear.
